Massachusett’s highest court ruled that buyers of some foreclosed homes might not be the legal owners. Any lender who does not have their head in the sand should already be aware of issues with improper foreclosures are not acceptable. I wonder how this will affect the prices of foreclosed properties. Will it result in bigger discounts on Bank REO’s as it will make buyers afraid of the risks associated with buying foreclosed properties? What’s your take?
